The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edward Komanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Niemoj in the 6th minute of the match. Zbyszko Waselenczuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Starogardzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. FC CzarneDęby's Edward Komanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Cizeski in the 14th minute of play. After 14 played minutes FC CzarneDęby got a freekick which was hit by Robert Szel. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Borys Niemoj managed to get in a good position for a shot. MLKS Budowlani Lubsko's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Niemoj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Komanski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Borys Niemoj struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Edward Komanski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MLKS Budowlani Lubsko. The audience was convinced that Borys Niemoj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Komanski was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Borys Niemoj might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Komanski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borys Niemoj ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half MLKS Budowlani Lubsko were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Borys Niemoj to strike the kick off in the second half. Wincent Cizeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Wincent Cizeski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Edward Komanski managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when MLKS Budowlani Lubsko's Wincent Cizeski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Wincent Cizeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Komanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Niemoj in the 86th minute of play. Klement Bugajski's late challenge caught a FC CzarneDęby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klement Bugajski helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, FC CzarneDęby's Daniel Korytkowski tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Remigiusz Babicki scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbyszko Waselenczuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
