The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Babicki got free with Franciszek Obuchowicz in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerzy Bejgier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Radowit Rosiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Kanczuszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Warta Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Babicki came free, but Franciszek Obuchowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Bykowina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Warta Częstochowa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
