Spectators: 7068 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mieszko Dubiel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomasz Zagrobelny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stanislaw Trynda hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Feliks Bugajski could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Jerzy Pysz however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Fates's zone, Feliks Bugajski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Pysz came out of the goal and Feliks Bugajski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tymoteusz Kornecki charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tymoteusz Kornecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tymoteusz Kornecki kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Jerzy Pysz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Zagrobelny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mieszko Dubiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Wasyl Mikulski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Smoszew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Osowski to maneuver through the defense. If Mieszko Dubiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Trynda kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Wasyl Mikulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Gondela in the 28th minute of play. When Tobiasz Osowski fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smoszew's protests and gave Tobiasz Osowski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fates booed when Smoszew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobiasz Osowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mieszko Dubiel struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Wasyl Mikulski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fates. Mieszko Dubiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobald Gondela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerzy Pysz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ryszard Charamut. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomasz Zagrobelny to make the kick off. Jerzy Pysz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Bugajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Jurand Poling fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fates's protests and gave Jurand Poling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Jurand Poling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mieszko Dubiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliks Bugajski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerzy Pysz having to make a save. Feliks Bugajski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Smoszew's Edmund Mazurkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antoni Bazan during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Antoni Bazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mieszko Dubiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Smoszew getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Stanislaw Trynda hit a great ball.
