Wit Filipowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Sroki went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, UKS Choszczno's Cyryl Gajewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Plech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wlodzimierz Rasimowicz tried in the game's 53rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Wit Filipowski. An annoying self made goal, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Gajewski in the 56th minute of play forced Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Stefan Plech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cyryl Gajewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Pogoń Staszów booed when UKS Choszczno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Rasimowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pogoń Staszów players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
