The tension between the Wlokna and the Zielone Słonie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mariusz Gamza hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Przemyslaw Naskrent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariusz Gamza got his second yellow card in the match during the 12th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 14 played minutes, Zielone Słonie's Hieronim Chrzan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marian Lodowy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zielone Słonie reached it. Cezary Kiewra's late challenge caught a Zielone Słonie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Kiewra helped the player get up and apologised. Cezary Kiewra hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ryszard Gierlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Lodowy having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Zielone Słonie's goalkeeper Boruc Chlapowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezary Kiewra. Jurand Furgal charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Zielone Słonie's Przemyslaw Naskrent got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Szczepan Czeberowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Zielone Słonie's goalkeeper Boruc Chlapowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezary Kiewra. Zielone Słonie's Boruc Chlapowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Zielone Słonie from getting a goal against them. Franciszek Witwicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Chlapowski having to interfere. If Franciszek Witwicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryszard Gierlach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Lech Giejda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wlokna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zielone Słonie the free kick. Lech Giejda kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Wlokna getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Poniewaz hit a great ball. Wlokna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
