Thunder FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karol Wicherek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Thunder FC booed when Poppelau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Zachemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Boleslaw Debkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olgierd Bielejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Olszewski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Olgierd Bielejewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janusz Pisarczyk was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. It was beautiful to see Poppelau's Ludomil Kicia in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. The wind increased when Olgierd Bielejewski made the kick off in the second half. Janusz Pisarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Bielejewski in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Thunder FC's Waclaw Czerner got a free kick in the 55th minute. Poppelau's Ludomil Kicia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Thunder FC. Ludomir Setara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beniamin Pisarcik in the 58th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Poppelau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Zachemski to maneuver through the defense. Dariusz Glaza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Poppelau's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Bielejewski came free, but Janusz Pisarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Olgierd Bielejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Pisarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Wicherek in the 82nd minute of play forced Poppelau's goalkeeper Janusz Pisarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomir Setara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamin Pisarcik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poppelau's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
