After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Zbigniew Rywin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballers's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbigniew Rywin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Ziemniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbigniew Wawak hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Bogdan Adamus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drohiczyn SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Adamus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Drohiczyn SA's zone, Bernard Zabrzeski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korneliusz Ziemniak came out of the goal and Bernard Zabrzeski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Zbigniew Wawak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Brytka was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Korneliusz Ziemniak was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Witold Czajkowski. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballers's goalkeeper Alfred Brytka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zenon Danisiewicz's late challenge caught a Drohiczyn SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zenon Danisiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ballers's Zenon Danisiewicz got a free kick in the 46th minute. Ballers's Alfred Brytka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Wawak in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Damian Turak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Brytka having to make a save. Drohiczyn SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Turak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Zbigniew Winograd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbigniew Rywin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Ballers got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Zabrzeski. In the 90th match minute, Ballers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Gmoch to maneuver through the defense. If Damian Turak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbigniew Winograd kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ballers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iwan Mockiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Drohiczyn SA's players had a chance to rest. Drohiczyn SA's Iwan Mockiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfred Brytka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
