Zbyszko Hodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Klawki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Zabrzeski in the 13th minute of play forced NA MUR BETON's goalkeeper Mikolaj Klawki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Zbyszko Hodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Klawki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Krogulcza SA's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Sikola came free, but Marian Tylenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikolaj Klawki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Zabrzeski in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Krogulcza SA's Hieronim Pliszka got a free kick in the 27th minute. Marian Tylenda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Sikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Hodas couldn't finish the play. If Zbyszko Hodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mikolaj Klawki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Krogulcza SA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Zabrzeski to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Jan Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Krogulcza SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Falk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Krogulcza SA's goalie and right to Stanislaw Czaplicki. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Krogulcza SA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Krogulcza SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
