Jerzy Mondrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Maziarz in the 3rd minute of the match. Görken's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aureliusz Pisarcik in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Aureliusz Pisarcik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jedlicze SA's Jerzy Mondrowski did a great save. When Tobiasz Wyrostek came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Görken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobiasz Wyrostek couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes of play, Görken's Radoslaw Kornecki made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerzy Mondrowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Jedlicze SA's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Wyrostek came free, but Jerzy Mondrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tobiasz Wyrostek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Görken's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Wyrostek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Mondrowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaw Maziarz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tobiasz Wyrostek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gustaw Maziarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Mondrowski having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Piotr Cielencki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jedlicze SA and the Görken players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Eugeniusz Ochylski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tobiasz Wyrostek made the kick off in the second half. Tobiasz Wyrostek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Wojciech Rawa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Gustaw Maziarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Mondrowski having to interfere.
