A beautiful save bye Dublin United's goalie prevented a goal. Edgar Polek in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Feliks Pstrongowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 12th match minute, Grzywna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Iwanowski to maneuver through the defense. Feliks Pstrongowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Tyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Edgar Polek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Pstrongowski having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Dublin United's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Poniewaz came free, but Franciszek Dziewulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgar Polek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Grzywna's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Tyski came free, but Feliks Pstrongowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Pstrongowski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 28 played minutes Dublin United got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Rzeszutko. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Klement Poniewaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grzywna's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Poniewaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Dziewulski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Dublin United's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Sliwinski came free, but Franciszek Dziewulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Polek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliks Pstrongowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Klement Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Poniewaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Dziewulski having to interfere. Klement Poniewaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grzywna's Olgierd Sliwinski got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radomil Tyski was the one to do the kick off. Klement Poniewaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dublin United's zone, Olgierd Sliwinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franciszek Dziewulski came out of the goal and Olgierd Sliwinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franciszek Dziewulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Sliwinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Edgar Polek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Feliks Pstrongowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliks Pstrongowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomil Tyski went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Radomil Tyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Pstrongowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Polek struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Feliks Pstrongowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dublin United. Feliks Pstrongowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Polek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Olgierd Sliwinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grzywna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Sliwinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olgierd Sliwinski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Franciszek Dziewulski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grzywna.
