But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcin Ziemniak couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Staworowo SA's goalkeeper Konrad Petka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Puzio. Wincent Lerych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Marczyniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Witomir Marczyniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medical Rengers's Wincent Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Zdanowicz in the 17th minute of play. Marcin Ziemniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wincent Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Marczyniec in the 24th minute of play. When Staworowo SA's Leon Zdanowicz in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wincent Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Zdanowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Wincent Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Zdanowicz in the 39th minute of play. Wincent Lerych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Zdanowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Medical Rengers's zone, Leon Zdanowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Lerych came out of the goal and Leon Zdanowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Mieszko Zachemski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincent Lerych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Marczyniec in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Staworowo SA's Witomir Marczyniec got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Zdanowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Lerych having to interfere. Marcin Ziemniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Konrad Petka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Medical Rengers's Mieszko Zachemski got a free kick in the 67th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Staworowo SA's Daniel Jandryca tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Waldemar Puzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konrad Petka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldemar Puzio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Waldemar Puzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medical Rengers's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Puzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konrad Petka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Leon Zdanowicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wincent Lerych. The goal made the score 0-1. Waldemar Puzio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Puzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waldemar Puzio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Staworowo SA's Wincent Lerych threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zbigniew Marosz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Waldemar Puzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Konrad Petka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Staworowo SA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
