Ryszard Walaszkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Gruchacz having to interfere. Mikolaj Grucza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikolaj Grucza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cezary Lepper having to make a save. Cezary Lepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Ludwiczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Grucza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cezary Lepper. PSV Bytom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikolaj Grucza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 27 minutes of play, Kotten's Mikolaj Grucza made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cezary Lepper was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, PSV Bytom's goalkeeper Cezary Lepper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenon Drapinski. Cezary Lepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Drapinski in the 33rd minute of the match. Cezary Lepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Drapinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lech Blicharz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Cezary Lepper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kotten. PSV Bytom's Cezary Lepper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save PSV Bytom from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Kotten's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Walaszkiewicz came free, but Tomasz Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryszard Walaszkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Radoslaw Ludwiczak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. A collision led to PSV Bytom getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Beniamin Bielejewski hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ryszard Walaszkiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomasz Gruchacz. That made the score 4-1 in the 69 minute of play. Cezary Lepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslaw Ludwiczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Dziurowicz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Walaszkiewicz in the 77th minute of play forced Kotten's goalkeeper Tomasz Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenon Drapinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to PSV Bytom getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Maciej Kaczanka hit a great ball. Kotten's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Julian Dylla scored to the left of an out of position Tomasz Gruchacz, making the score, 4-2. Kotten's Tomasz Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Walaszkiewicz in the 88th minute of play. If Cezary Kolano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikolaj Grucza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezary Lepper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Kotten walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
