Edmund Tyskie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ryszard Gall. 0-1. Radoslaw Giejda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Rekowski in the 10th minute. Ryszard Gall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Prus, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Witalis Kosiorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witalis Kosiorek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Gall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. If Zdzislaw Prus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Jakub Sienkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olaf Furgal, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witalis Kosiorek in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryszard Gall saved Sparta Brodnica from getting behind. Edmund Tyskie kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Zdzislaw Prus notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sparta Brodnica's Ryszard Gall. Ryszard Gall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Sparta Brodnica's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Prus came free, but Ryszard Gall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zdzislaw Prus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sparta Brodnica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pogonia were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakub Tyski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witalis Kosiorek in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryszard Gall saved Sparta Brodnica from getting behind. Ryszard Gall made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Edmund Tyskie sent off a good shot on target. Sparta Brodnica's Ryszard Gall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Sparta Brodnica from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Zdzislaw Prus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pogonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Zdzislaw Prus struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ryszard Gall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogonia. In the 65th minute Witalis Kosiorek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Gall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Zdzislaw Prus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdzislaw Prus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sparta Brodnica's zone, Mieszko Weyna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Gall came out of the goal and Mieszko Weyna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zdzislaw Prus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Gall having to interfere. Zdzislaw Prus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ryszard Gall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radoslaw Giejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugon Czubski in the 79th minute of play. Zdzislaw Prus might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryszard Gall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zdzislaw Prus ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sparta Brodnica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hugon Czubski hit a great ball. Zdzislaw Prus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ryszard Gall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witalis Kosiorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zdzislaw Prus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Sparta Brodnica's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Weyna came free, but Ryszard Gall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sparta Brodnica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pogonia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
