The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Karol Dobilas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugeniusz Sienkowski. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Eugeniusz Sienkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karol Dobilas in the 8th minute. Boleslaw Absolwent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Olaf Pracki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zarzeczany getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Damazy Naskrent hit a great ball. Eugeniusz Sienkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Poniewaz in the 17th minute of the match. Zarzeczany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damazy Naskrent in the 24th minute. It was a well-played corner which Bartlomiej Tamulewicz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 26th minute, Karol Dobilas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilbert Poniewaz charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Poniewaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cietusza booed when Zarzeczany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Poniewaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zarzeczany's Olaf Pracki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Absolwent in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Boleslaw Absolwent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Pracki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zarzeczany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damazy Naskrent in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Damazy Naskrent almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cietusza's Eugeniusz Sienkowski did a great save. 39 minutes into the game, Hieronim Marczyniec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zarzeczany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cietusza the free kick. After 41 played minutes Zarzeczany got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Naskrent. In the 42nd minute of the match Norbert Mocko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olaf Pracki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eugeniusz Sienkowski was a little too slow when Gilbert Poniewaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boleslaw Absolwent stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, Zarzeczany's Gilbert Poniewaz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Sienkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 played minutes Zarzeczany got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Poniewaz. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zarzeczany! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Cietusza. Norbert Mocko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Olaf Pracki. 3-2. Eugeniusz Sienkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Poniewaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilbert Poniewaz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eugeniusz Sienkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zarzeczany. In the 73rd minute, Bartlomiej Tamulewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes Zarzeczany got a freekick which was hit by Karol Dobilas. The audience was convinced that Boleslaw Absolwent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Pracki was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Boleslaw Absolwent took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Olaf Pracki to make any attempt to save it. Gilbert Poniewaz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Eugeniusz Sienkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zarzeczany. After having played for 93 minutes, Gilbert Poniewaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zarzeczany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Poniewaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cietusza's Eugeniusz Sienkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Majerowicz in the 96th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cietusza defense, Gilbert Poniewaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugeniusz Sienkowski. The Cietusza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugeniusz Sienkowski should have stopped the shot. Zarzeczany's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
