The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Puch in the 3rd minute of play forced Kunersdorf's goalkeeper Sylwester Lemiesz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kunersdorf's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emil Puch 6 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Motowski in the 9th minute of play forced Mień Lipno's goalkeeper Waldemar Laba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by Zenon Jaszynski from a close distance when the talented Sylwester Lemiesz managed to make a qualified save. Kunersdorf's players were relieved. When Emil Puch came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mień Lipno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Puch couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Emil Puch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sylwester Lemiesz. Emil Puch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Puch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sylwester Lemiesz. That made the score 3-1 in the 34 minute of play. With a little luck, Kunersdorf's Sylwester Lemiesz got control of the ball when Zenon Jaszynski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Kunersdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Andrzejewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Emil Puch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Lemiesz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Puch made a kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kunersdorf's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ludomil Bojanowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Mień Lipno's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mień Lipno's Ludomil Bojanowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Sylwester Lemiesz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Kunersdorf defense, Zenon Jaszynski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Lemiesz. The Kunersdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Lemiesz should have stopped the shot. Korneliusz Wyrostek kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zenon Jaszynski in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylwester Lemiesz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Puch in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Lemiesz saved Kunersdorf from getting behind. Zenon Jaszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sylwester Lemiesz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Laba made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Olgierd Andrzejewski sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lucjan Chodzinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mień Lipno's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Chodzinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Lemiesz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kunersdorf's zone, Emil Puch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Lemiesz came out of the goal and Emil Puch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
