An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Piechocki in the 18th minute of play forced Styków SSA's goalkeeper Zygmunt Rykaczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wusen's goalkeeper Gwidon Hludzenski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 23 in the game by Milosz Niedziela from a close distance when the talented Zygmunt Rykaczewski managed to make a qualified save. Styków SSA's players were relieved. 24 minutes into the match, Wusen's Stefan Piechocki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zygmunt Rykaczewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stefan Piechocki got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Zygmunt Rykaczewski handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Milosz Niedziela took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zygmunt Rykaczewski. Zygmunt Rykaczewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 45 played minutes Wusen got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Winnicki. Korneliusz Rydzyk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gwidon Hludzenski. Wusen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gwidon Hludzenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslaw Zawada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Piechocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mikolaj Wieloch fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. One of Styków SSA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wusen:s goal. Franciszek Janiczek walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 56 minutes into the game, Styków SSA's Miroslaw Zawada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gwidon Hludzenski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Milosz Niedziela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Marian Murdza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Styków SSA's Juliusz Major sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gwidon Hludzenski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gwidon Hludzenski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Styków SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Niedziela came free, but Zygmunt Rykaczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwidon Hludzenski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Major in the 73rd minute of the match. Stefan Piechocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zygmunt Rykaczewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play Styków SSA's Hugon Bazan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes into the match, Wusen's Franciszek Janiczek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 92nd minute Milosz Niedziela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Rykaczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Rykaczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Niedziela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Styków SSA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
