Orzeł Północy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Jandryca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olgierd Barniszke charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olgierd Barniszke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Orzeł Północy booed when Śląsk 1947 Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Barniszke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juliusz Marchlewicz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Kryspin Jandryca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Śląsk 1947 Wrocław got a freekick which was hit by Edward Jaszyna. After having played for 32 minutes, Hieronim Bakes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kryspin Jandryca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orzeł Północy's supporters rose to their feet, but Kryspin Jandryca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klement Dzierwa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Domaradzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Teobald Giejda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Śląsk 1947 Wrocław's Hieronim Bakes in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 59th minute, Kryspin Jandryca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hieronim Bakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69th play minutes Damian Domaradzki shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Teobald Giejda and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Bakes in the 73rd minute of play forced Orzeł Północy's goalkeeper Teobald Giejda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Major hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Teobald Giejda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Domaradzki in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute Boleslaw Molski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Śląsk 1947 Wrocław players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orzeł Północy.
