Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 100) FC Chmielek were furious when Bogumil Banan was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Chmielek fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! After 13 minutes, Iwo Puszynski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Chmielek and the KS PRUSZKÓW players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes FC Chmielek got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Puszynski. Zbyszko Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Tyskie in the 18th minute of play. When Tadeusz Kaczorowski fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS PRUSZKÓW's protests and gave Tadeusz Kaczorowski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Chmielek booed when KS PRUSZKÓW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Kaczorowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Jaroslaw Tyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Sochacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Chmielek's Zbyszko Sochacki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FC Chmielek from getting a goal against them. Iwo Puszynski hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Zbyszko Sochacki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeusz Kaczorowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Edmund Maruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KS PRUSZKÓW's zone, Mieszko Gejda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Drapinski came out of the goal and Mieszko Gejda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Iwo Puszynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Iwan Drapinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute, Iwo Puszynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th match minute, KS PRUSZKÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Tyskie to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszko Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Tyski in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, FC Chmielek's Iwo Puszynski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Edmund Maruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwan Drapinski having to make a save. Iwan Drapinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Maruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Drapinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Puszynski in the 82nd minute of the match. Iwo Puszynski might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwan Drapinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iwo Puszynski ran back to his position shaking his head. If Iwo Puszynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Iwo Puszynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chmielek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwo Puszynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, FC Chmielek's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Tyskie came free, but Zbyszko Sochacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
