After a rather tough play, Mysłowice's Roman Skoroda got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mysłowice's zone, Maciej Resel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariusz Pinczewski came out of the goal and Maciej Resel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Radoslaw Solarek made the kick off in the second half. Michal Mietus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Polkoski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Mysłowice's Fryderyk Markowski got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Andryszyn charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Andryszyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute Michal Mietus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Polkoski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Polkoski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Markowski in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Wit Dytrych mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS STOLEM and the Mysłowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tanek Ludwa got free with Mariusz Pinczewski in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
