Wlodzimierz Olejarz came out of the goal and Stefan Poteralski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Filip Glembin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Kostrza SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Glembin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jerzy Okopny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kostrza SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Okopny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witalis Ramzinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jerzy Okopny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Glembin scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witalis Ramzinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
