When Artur Jaks came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the RED DEVILS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Jaks couldn't finish the play. When Gilbert Wnukowski fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RED DEVILS FC's protests and gave Gilbert Wnukowski a yellow card for diving instead. Witalis Ramzinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Seliga in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes RED DEVILS FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Damaski. Wlodzimierz Borcz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Wlodzimierz Borcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Friedrichshain's supporters rose to their feet, but Wlodzimierz Borcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witalis Ramzinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RED DEVILS FC's Witalis Ramzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Borcz in the 44th minute of play. Witalis Ramzinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. RED DEVILS FC's Stefan Poteralski got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Borcz in the 58th minute of play forced RED DEVILS FC's goalkeeper Witalis Ramzinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witalis Ramzinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Jaks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Franciszek Dudkowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wlodzimierz Borcz might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Witalis Ramzinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wlodzimierz Borcz ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the game, one of Friedrichshain:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Jan Seliga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RED DEVILS FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Friedrichshain had controlled the match.
