In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mareczki SSA's goalkeeper Edmund Wodaszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Debkowski in the 38th minute of play forced KC Ostrovia Ostrów Wlkp's goalkeeper Cyprian Burdzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franciszek Lichorobiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Wodaszak having to interfere. Franciszek Lichorobiec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Edmund Wodaszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Wodaszak didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 98th minute Bartlomiej Loncki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Burdzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mareczki SSA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
