Wieslaw Niedziela started the match with the kick off. Emil Witkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Bryk having to interfere. Kryspin Bryk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Niedziela in the 9th minute of play. Wieslaw Niedziela might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kryspin Bryk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wieslaw Niedziela ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Jakubowice's Zachariasz Cwojdak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliusz Penc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute of the match, Emil Witkowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kryspin Bryk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Miromir Drapinski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Az Alkmaar FC's Aureliusz Penc. Aureliusz Penc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Wieslaw Niedziela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walery Wincek kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Tolek Parzysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Az Alkmaar FC defense, Miromir Drapinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliusz Penc. The Az Alkmaar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliusz Penc should have stopped the shot. If Emil Witkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kryspin Bryk made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Emil Witkowski sent off a good shot on target. Tolek Parzysz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A collision led to Az Alkmaar FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gwidon Ciupierdo hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Miromir Drapinski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aureliusz Penc, passed just outside the right post. In the 68th minute, Miromir Drapinski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Wieslaw Niedziela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Witkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jakubowice's Tolek Parzysz got a free kick in the 75th minute. Zachariasz Cwojdak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aureliusz Penc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miromir Drapinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wieslaw Niedziela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Emil Witkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Az Alkmaar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Witkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miromir Drapinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliusz Penc having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Az Alkmaar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leszek Huchro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jakubowice's Olaf Czciborek got a free kick in the 94th minute. With a little luck, Az Alkmaar FC's Aureliusz Penc got control of the ball when Zachariasz Cwojdak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Jakubowice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jakubowice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
