Virgílio Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Virgílio Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Wincent Malik. Sudwa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Wincent Malik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgílio Diniz in the 19th minute. Wincent Malik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wincent Malik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgílio Diniz's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgílio Diniz got free with Wincent Malik in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cyryl Zyskowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Malewicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. BAŁTYK GDYNIA's Virgílio Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgílio Diniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wincent Malik came out and tried to block the shot, but Virgílio Diniz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Izydor Ziemba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cyryl Zyskowski. That made the score 2-1 in the 53 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Alfred Sawicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Virgílio Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sudwa's zone, Virgílio Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Malik came out of the goal and Virgílio Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, BAŁTYK GDYNIA's goalkeeper Cyryl Zyskowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wasyl Malewicki. In the 66th minute, Norbert Brodzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Wasyl Malewicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Virgílio Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Wincent Malik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Brodzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game Virgílio Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sudwa's Wincent Malik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Roman Klewinski fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sudwa's protests and gave Roman Klewinski a yellow card for diving instead. Virgílio Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wincent Malik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Malik having to interfere. Virgílio Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BAŁTYK GDYNIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
