Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sylwester Sala made the kick off and thus started the match. When Rafal Wierzcholek fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiniki's protests and gave Rafal Wierzcholek a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Kiniki got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Wierzcholek. Robert Lemiesz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslaw Tychy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. When Sylwester Kosowski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Miroslaw Tychy was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Kiniki booed when OKS Opole SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Nakonieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Alfred Smolarek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miroslaw Tychy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 19 in the game by Zdzislaw Arnista from a close distance when the talented Ryszard Biraga managed to make a qualified save. OKS Opole SA's players were relieved. In the 21st match minute, OKS Opole SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Kosowski to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes, OKS Opole SA's Alfred Smolarek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miroslaw Tychy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OKS Opole SA reached it. Robert Lemiesz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kiniki's Dariusz Szarmach got a free kick in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sylwester Kosowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of OKS Opole SA booed when Kiniki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Jajko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Kiniki's goalkeeper Miroslaw Tychy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Lemiesz. Alfred Smolarek hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Sylwester Kosowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Tychy having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Tylenda during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Korneliusz Nakonieczny charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korneliusz Nakonieczny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sylwester Sala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maksymilian Nakonieczny struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Miroslaw Tychy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OKS Opole SA. Robert Lemiesz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Miroslaw Tychy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Miroslaw Tychy throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sylwester Kosowski in the 81stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Michal Lichorobiec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Miroslaw Tychy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miroslaw Tychy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Kosowski in the 87th minute of the match. If Sylwester Kosowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiniki's Miroslaw Tychy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Kosowski in the 92nd minute of play. OKS Opole SA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kiniki to leave the ground with a draw.
