Thanks to some nice moves Eugeniusz Gozdowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Jakub Barowicz however easily saved by the left post. In the 9th match minute, Peterhain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Augustyniak to maneuver through the defense. Jakub Januszewski scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wincent Plech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th match minute, KATOWICE GKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Kosmatka to maneuver through the defense. Jakub Barowicz was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Borys Zatorski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Peterhain's Lucjan Skonieczny slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jakub Barowicz. That made the score 3-1 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucjan Skonieczny was the one to do the kick off. The KATOWICE GKS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peterhain's goalkeeper Wincent Plech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KATOWICE GKS's Gustaw Bienienda got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Kajetan Betonowy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KATOWICE GKS's Jakub Barowicz didn't even have to move. KATOWICE GKS's Jakub Barowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Augustyniak in the 88th minute of play. Rafal Podolski hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The KATOWICE GKS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
