The supporters of STAL GORZÓW booed when Walinna SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Kaczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walinna SSA's Miromir Dziedziak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Zdrojewski in the 14th minute of play. STAL GORZÓW's Norbert Jaszynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Mazurkiewicz in the 17th minute of play. Franciszek Olchowy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Jaszynski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Norbert Jaszynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Jacek Mazurkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walinna SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Mazurkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Franciszek Olchowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Olchowy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Norbert Jaszynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franciszek Olchowy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Wiktor Kowalski fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walinna SSA's protests and gave Wiktor Kowalski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Walinna SSA's Wiktor Kowalski got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Jacek Mazurkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Walinna SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Mazurkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Franciszek Olchowy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacek Mazurkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Jacek Mazurkiewicz lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Norbert Jaszynski. If Franciszek Olchowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miromir Dziedziak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Zdrojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Norbert Jaszynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Olchowy in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franciszek Olchowy in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Jaszynski saved STAL GORZÓW from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Walinna SSA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than STAL GORZÓW.
