An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Kaczor in the 22nd minute of play forced Stal Łańcut's goalkeeper Grzegorz Brzonkala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Wasyl Damazki managed to get in a good position for a shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wasyl Damazki couldn't finish the play. If Teobald Bryk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Brzonkala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobald Bryk's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Wasyl Damazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damazy Podwojski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Damazki in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Grzegorz Brzonkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Bryk, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
