An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Kaczynski in the 72nd minute of play forced Stal Łańcut's goalkeeper Grzegorz Brzonkala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stal Łańcut's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Ratulowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziemowit Smolarek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wasyl Damazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ziemowit Smolarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Damazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Marek Wicherek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Brzonkala having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo la Krapkowice players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stal Łańcut.
