Cyryl Jaszyna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Bielenda in the 5th minute. If Boguslaw Bielenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes, Ebersbach's Ignacy Turacki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerzy Smolarek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ebersbach reached it. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sharks! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Ebersbach. Witomir Tscherner stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerzy Smolarek. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ziemowit Blicharz during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ebersbach fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Ebersbach's attack was well implemented in the 22nd minute, but when Izydor Naujasodis was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 24th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Witomir Tscherner hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Radomir Kiszkiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ebersbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomir Kiszkiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomir Kiszkiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Smolarek having to interfere. Napoleon Czerniak hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ebersbach's Radomir Kiszkiel got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Izydor Naujasodis spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sharks's goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Radomir Kiszkiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ebersbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Kiszkiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Smolarek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radomir Kiszkiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Izydor Naujasodis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Smolarek having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wincenty Soliwoda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Radomir Kiszkiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Damaski charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Damaski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Napoleon Czerniak fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sharks's protests and gave Napoleon Czerniak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ebersbach booed when Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Czerniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomir Kiszkiel took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Smolarek. Jerzy Smolarek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Witold Gajewski charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witold Gajewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Witold Gajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Wincenty Soliwoda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerzy Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Naujasodis in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Radomir Kiszkiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Smolarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Izydor Naujasodis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boguslaw Bielenda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cyryl Jaszyna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ebersbach may have spent more time on the ball, but Sharks were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
