The audience thought a goal was coming when Tytus Jastrowicz got free with Zachariasz Paraszczuk in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Gothenhafen's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Zerde came free, but Jerzy Mruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislaw Burowski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RTS Widzew Łódź fully deserved thier win.
