The supporters of Ruch Zdzieszowice booed when Kosmeden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Cieslak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Przebendowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roch Kornatowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 9th minute, Grzegorz Galagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Ruch Zdzieszowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Kornaszewski to maneuver through the defense. Roman Zdrojewski's late challenge caught a Kosmeden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Zdrojewski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Napoleon Soszka sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ruch Zdzieszowice's Zachariasz Klewinski didn't even have to move. 20 minutes into the game, Ruch Zdzieszowice's Grzegorz Przebendowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roch Kornatowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ruch Zdzieszowice's Pawel Kornaszewski got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tanek Szkarpiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Klewinski having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Tanek Szkarpiak made a precise shot to the right of Zachariasz Klewinski. Ruch Zdzieszowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Ruch Zdzieszowice's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Klocko came free, but Zachariasz Klewinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Mariusz Klocko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kosmeden's Mariusz Klocko got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radowit Gardocki to make the kick off. If Mariusz Klocko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Szkarpiak in the 54th minute of play forced Ruch Zdzieszowice's goalkeeper Zachariasz Klewinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mariusz Klocko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kosmeden's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariusz Klocko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachariasz Klewinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariusz Klocko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zachariasz Klewinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Szkarpiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Tanek Szkarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Klewinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tanek Szkarpiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tanek Szkarpiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zachariasz Klewinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Tanek Szkarpiak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zachariasz Klewinski, 1-3. After 85 played minutes Ruch Zdzieszowice got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Golob. Zachariasz Klewinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Szkarpiak in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Radowit Gardocki made a precise shot to the right of Roch Kornatowski. Kosmeden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Kosmeden's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
