The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tanek Hodyl to strike the kick off in the second half. Smorczewo's Ryszard Ligas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Hodyl in the 59th minute of play. Karol Wyrostek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Trela in the 60th minute of the match. Ryszard Ligas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Hodyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 67 minutes, Gustaw Kaszubowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smorczewo and the Torpeda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute of the match Zachariasz Dawiec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryszard Ligas skillfully saved the ball. When Dobromir Zakrzewski came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Smorczewo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Zakrzewski couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Torpeda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Raszkiewicz to maneuver through the defense.
