Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Modlimowo's Alfred Mroczynski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaroslaw Brataniec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacek Zieba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes of play, MKS Błękitni Orneta's Jaroslaw Brataniec made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobald Grucza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Jaroslaw Brataniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Grucza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute when Hieronim Wojno was dribbling his way through MKS Błękitni Orneta's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. Stanislaw Chazen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Mroczynski in the 31st minute of play. Jaroslaw Brataniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Grucza having to interfere. Jacek Zieba might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobald Grucza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacek Zieba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Igor Ankiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Igor Ankiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MKS Błękitni Orneta's Stanislaw Chazen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 played minutes MKS Błękitni Orneta got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Lato. Alfred Mroczynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Stanislaw Chazen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Zieba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teobald Grucza came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacek Zieba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Jacek Zieba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Błękitni Orneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Zieba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Modlimowo's zone, Jaroslaw Brataniec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobald Grucza came out of the goal and Jaroslaw Brataniec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of MKS Błękitni Orneta booed when Modlimowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Grabowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modlimowo's Teobald Grucza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Zieba in the 73rd minute of play. Jaroslaw Brataniec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobald Grucza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Zieba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Teobald Grucza managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when MKS Błękitni Orneta's Jaroslaw Brataniec fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Igor Ankiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modlimowo's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Ankiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislaw Chazen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, MKS Błękitni Orneta's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Ankiewicz came free, but Stanislaw Chazen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Zieba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Grucza having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MKS Błękitni Orneta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
