The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Malicki got free with Benedykt Domaracki in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michal Naujasodis struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Pawel Kosakowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogoń staszow. After some careless play in the FC Zamoście defense, Ryszard Tscherner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pawel Kosakowski. The FC Zamoście fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pawel Kosakowski should have stopped the shot. Eugeniusz Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krzysztof Laba was the one to do the kick off. Benedykt Domaracki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krzysztof Laba went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Ryszard Tscherner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pogoń staszow's Gwidon Pierz got a free kick in the 67th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Krzysztof Laba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zamoście's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Laba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ryszard Tscherner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pawel Kosakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Tscherner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Tscherner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pawel Kosakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michal Naujasodis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Kosakowski having to interfere. In the 97thth minute of the game Krzysztof Laba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń staszow's Benedykt Domaracki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pogoń staszow's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Zamoście had won, even though Pogoń staszow had held more of the ball.
