Aureliusz Rutkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Brzeszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Lech Kochowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 10th minute, Waldemar Ptaszek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lübecksfelde SA getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dobromir Lodowy hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Lübecksfelde SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Zajac to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Wielin SA's Tobiasz Czerwinski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zula Szkaradek. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Aureliusz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Ptaszek in the 30th minute of play. Aureliusz Rutkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Ptaszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Waldemar Ptaszek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobiasz Czerwinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zula Szkaradek having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Brzeszczak was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Radomir Biskupiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lübecksfelde SA and the Wielin SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Lübecksfelde SA got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Biskupiak. Tobiasz Czerwinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zula Szkaradek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Tobiasz Czerwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Szkaradek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Lübecksfelde SA's Aureliusz Rutkowski threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernard Brzeszczak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lübecksfelde SA's Waldemar Ptaszek got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliusz Rutkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Ptaszek in the 78th minute. Waldemar Ptaszek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Aureliusz Rutkowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 95 played minutes Wielin SA got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Antoszewski. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Wincent Biskupiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lübecksfelde SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincent Biskupiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliusz Rutkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
