HSV Hamburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslaw Gniech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Miroslaw Gniech fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HSV Hamburg's protests and gave Miroslaw Gniech a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, HSV Hamburg's Miroslaw Gniech got a free kick in the 9th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Bernard Mosiniak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Konrad Rzeszutko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Ksawery Niedziela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, HSV Hamburg's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Czaplicki came free, but Konrad Rzeszutko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslaw Gniech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Blochowiak having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kredo S.A.'s Leszek Czaplicki in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Konrad Rzeszutko was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for HSV Hamburg through an amazing save.

In the 59th minute Miroslaw Gniech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the game, Franciszek Napierkowski landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 61st minute, Wincent Pawlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, HSV Hamburg's Remigiusz Sniegowski got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leszek Czaplicki in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrad Rzeszutko saved HSV Hamburg from getting behind. After some careless play in the Kredo S.A. defense, Ksawery Niedziela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Szczepan Blochowiak. The Kredo S.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szczepan Blochowiak should have stopped the shot. Ksawery Niedziela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Blochowiak having to interfere. Bernard Mosiniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. HSV Hamburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Mosiniak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Kredo S.A. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of HSV Hamburg for a fine match.
