In the 2nd minute, one of Dubin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dubin. Iwo Mojsiewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Mindykowski went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Zasypnica getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Wojciech Swoboda hit a great ball. Jan Czempa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dubin's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Slawomir Watarz 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The supporters of Zasypnica booed when Dubin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Kostka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dubin's Krzysztof Dawiec got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Czempa took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwo Mojsiewicz. Iwo Mojsiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Watarz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwo Mojsiewicz was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Slawomir Watarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Iwo Mojsiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Dubin got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Oryniak. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbyszek Oryniak during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dubin getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zbyszek Oryniak hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Slawomir Watarz to make the kick off. Iwo Mojsiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Watarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Zasypnica defense, Damazy Kosmatka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincent Siekierski. The Zasypnica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincent Siekierski should have stopped the shot. Zasypnica's Slawomir Watarz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wincent Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Kosmatka in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Dubin's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Czempa came free, but Iwo Mojsiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwo Mojsiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Czempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dubin's goalkeeper Iwo Mojsiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Zasypnica booed when Dubin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Czerniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Jan Czempa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iwo Mojsiewicz came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Zasypnica's Slawomir Watarz. But to his dismay, Slawomir Watarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Iwo Mojsiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Watarz in the 85th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Dubin's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Watarz came free, but Iwo Mojsiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zasypnica walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
