After a rather tough play, FC Drewniane Drewna S.A's Tolek Mocko got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Miromir Sowa scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Dzerwucki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Miromir Sowa might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Dzerwucki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Odra Opole's zone, Grzegorz Dawiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Siwek came out of the goal and Grzegorz Dawiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Grzegorz Dawiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogumil Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miromir Sowa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Stefan Dzerwucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
