Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Patora in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslaw Ciechocki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Michal Patora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Marek Podolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Miroslaw Ciechocki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wincenty Wicherek hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a long run with the ball, Wincenty Wicherek did a trick in the 25th minute in front of Kometa's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Damienice's Wincenty Wicherek! With an all-out effort, Damienice's Pawel Wnukowski threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zachariasz Tamulewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pawel Wnukowski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Michal Patora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslaw Ciechocki having to make a save. The Kometa fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Kometa's Michal Patora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 40th minute of the match Wincenty Waldoch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miroslaw Ciechocki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Damienice's Ignacy Tipinski made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pawel Wnukowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Patora was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Michal Patora made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Damienice's Miroslaw Ciechocki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kometa's goalkeeper Pawel Wnukowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Michal Patora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Michal Patora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miroslaw Ciechocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Zenon Malik's late challenge caught a Kometa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zenon Malik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Zenon Malik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Zachariasz Tamulewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Wnukowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Patoras short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Miroslaw Ciechocki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Witold Peczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miroslaw Ciechocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Patora in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Michal Patora fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kometa's Marek Podolski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Damienice. When the match was over Kometa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Damienice throughout the match.
