Boguslaw Blochowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Solibieda, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Edmund Glapiak hit a great ball. After 11 minutes of play, Diabeł Team's Teobald Pietrowicz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zachariasz Cempa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bogdan Glozor kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Krzysztof Solibieda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Solibieda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Krzysztof Solibieda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boguslaw Blochowiak, 1-1. Krzysztof Solibieda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Boguslaw Blochowiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teobald Pietrowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobromir Zerde hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Hugon Kloczko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boguslaw Blochowiak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krzysztof Solibieda's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Krzysztof Solibieda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Blochowiak having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of Diabeł Team booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a little luck, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Zachariasz Cempa got control of the ball when Miroslaw Sebzda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugon Kloczko took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boguslaw Blochowiak. When Miroslaw Sebzda came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Diabeł Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslaw Sebzda couldn't finish the play. Teobald Pietrowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Cempa having to interfere. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
