In the 40th minute, Wincent Bejger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boruc Hyska during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Manchester United booed when Juventude Płock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Hyska didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match FC Manchester United got a corner. Juventude Płock's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafal Czajka ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Manchester United's Rafal Czajka to fire away a dangerous shot which Zenon Liermann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 87th minute Julian Jaworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Zbikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Teofil Komornicki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zenon Liermann. The goal made the score 1-2. Konrad Czerny kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Juventude Płock supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Manchester United's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Manchester United.
