Spectators: 7332 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wasyl Jazwiec started the match with the kick off. Jerzy Bienienda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boruc Kicia in the 4th minute. After 9 played minutes Kwasów SSA got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Wierzchowski. Wojciech Motowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Niemoj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wasyl Jazwiec got free with Jerzy Bienienda in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wojciech Motowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Serwacki in the 19th minute of play. If Beniamin Solibieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boruc Kicia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Serwacki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wojciech Motowski. Kwasów SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zygmunt Serwacki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Wojciech Motowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Niemoj, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Wasyl Jazwiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Bienienda having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Wasyl Jazwiec dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerzy Bienienda, 1-2. Wojciech Motowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Pazura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wasyl Jazwiec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jerzy Bienienda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beniamin Solibieda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Niemoj made a kick off. Beniamin Solibieda struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jerzy Bienienda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kwasów SSA. A collision led to Sokolna getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Zdzislaw Podolski hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Kwasów SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Niemoj came free, but Wojciech Motowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kwasów SSA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Zdzislaw Podolski scored to the left of an out of position Wojciech Motowski, making the score, 1-3. If Ryszard Niemoj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Kwasów SSA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jedrzej Pazura fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Boruc Kicia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerzy Bienienda. Sokolna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boruc Kicia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Niemoj in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojciech Motowski saved Kwasów SSA from getting behind. In the 81st minute Boruc Kicia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Bienienda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kwasów SSA's Wojciech Motowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Niemoj in the 83rd minute of play. Ryszard Niemoj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Motowski having to interfere. Wojciech Motowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Niemoj's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Jedrzej Pazura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sokolna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jedrzej Pazura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Kwasów SSA's Wojciech Motowski got control of the ball when Jedrzej Pazura tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sokolna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
