Gersi Snabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute of play. Gersi Snabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatas Eidukonis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatas Eidukonis got free with Arnout Reekers in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gersi Snabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of play. Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Harsh Gods defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gersi Snabe. The Harsh Gods fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gersi Snabe should have stopped the shot. Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, David Eikelkamp made a precise shot to the right of Gersi Snabe. Harsh Gods's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 46 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jogaila Makauskas. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Lain to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Harsh Gods's goalkeeper Gersi Snabe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijn Doctor. Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Harsh Gods from getting a goal against them. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Numan Afak, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gersi Snabe was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Tomas Lain took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Gersi Snabe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Meesters's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Gersi Snabe made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Gersi Snabe in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jogaila Makauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Lain in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
