The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigiusz Derlanga got free with Alfred Zerde in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tauzen Katowice's Alfred Zerde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Tauzen Katowice from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes Tauzen Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Jan Galus. Remigiusz Derlanga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alfred Zerde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Remigiusz Derlanga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alfred Zerde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Remigiusz Derlanga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Korneliusz Sitko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Zerde having to interfere. Korneliusz Sitko took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Zerde. Alfred Zerde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Henryk was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Sebastian Henryk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliusz Trzemzalski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Korneliusz Sitko struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Alfred Zerde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gieczynek. In the 69th minute Korneliusz Sitko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Zerde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Remigiusz Derlanga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tauzen Katowice's goalkeeper Alfred Zerde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Remigiusz Derlanga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gieczynek fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Gieczynek's Remigiusz Derlanga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When the referee ended the match the Gieczynek players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
