Aureliusz Trzemzalski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zula Bronicki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliusz Trzemzalski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. If Korneliusz Sitko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Sitko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zachariasz Sakowicz, 1-1. The supporters of Gieczynek booed when Zagłębie Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Cipinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Gieczynek's Hugon Haszczak broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 21 played minutes Zagłębie Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Adam Siedlecki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Kajdasz in the 38th minute of play forced Gieczynek's goalkeeper Aureliusz Trzemzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Zachariasz Sakowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigiusz Derlanga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Sitko in the 45th minute of play forced Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Zachariasz Sakowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Bronicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Sitko made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Derlanga came free, but Zachariasz Sakowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Remigiusz Derlanga made a precise shot to the right of Zachariasz Sakowicz. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jakub Kajdasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliusz Trzemzalski having to interfere. When Tanek Pieprz fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gieczynek's protests and gave Tanek Pieprz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute Zula Bronicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Trzemzalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedykt Bubczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zula Bronicki in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliusz Trzemzalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zachariasz Sakowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Derlanga in the 82nd minute of the match. Adam Siedlecki hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Zula Bronicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigiusz Derlanga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Rakowski charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Rakowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gieczynek booed when Zagłębie Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Rakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Zachariasz Sakowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Sitko in the 94th minute of play. Gieczynek's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
