To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Damian Matuch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Geronimo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laskowo were winning 0-2.

In the 88th minute, Wasyl Nigbor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wincent Olchawa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Geronimo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Laskowo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
