Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Metelin's Teofil Gdaniec started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remigiusz Marchlewicz scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walery Szostak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antoni Gacki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Szczepan Zacharek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 11 minute of play. In the 17th minute of the game, Cyryl Rawa landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Szczepan Zacharek fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metelin's protests and gave Szczepan Zacharek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Szczepan Zacharek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boguslaw Andrychowski hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Daniel Olszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Antoni Gacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Katowice's zone, Teofil Gdaniec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Gacki came out of the goal and Teofil Gdaniec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Teofil Gdaniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teobald Nowacki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walery Szostak having to make a save. Szczepan Zacharek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Antoni Gacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Szczepan Zacharek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antoni Gacki. That made the score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobald Nowacki to strike the kick off in the second half. Teobald Nowacki got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Walery Szostak handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Teobald Nowacki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walery Szostak having to make a save. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Katowice's goalkeeper Antoni Gacki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gilbert Rakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Metelin's goalkeeper Walery Szostak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobald Nowacki. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Remigiusz Marchlewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Katowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigiusz Marchlewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walery Szostak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szczepan Zacharek hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Metelin's Szczepan Zacharek suffered a sore foot after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 81 minutes into the match, Real Katowice's Gilbert Rakowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walery Szostak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Olszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Gacki having to interfere. Teofil Gdaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Antoni Gacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boguslaw Andrychowski during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
