Aleksander Budrewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Sylwester Charamut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tadeusz Kisiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Robert Lisewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeusz Kisiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Sylwester Charamut elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the LechPoznan defense, Antoni Dziechciowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Wojtowicz. The LechPoznan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Wojtowicz should have stopped the shot. Pankracy Wojtowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Budrewicz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute Antoni Dziechciowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Wojtowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the LechPoznan defense, Aleksander Budrewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Wojtowicz. The LechPoznan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Wojtowicz should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Antoni Dziechciowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Wojtowicz. LechPoznan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoni Dziechciowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeusz Kisiel to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Dziechciowski in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Wojtowicz saved LechPoznan from getting behind. Gwidon Fabiszak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pankracy Wojtowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LechPoznan getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lech Zacharzewski hit a great ball. Antoni Dziechciowski struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pankracy Wojtowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borken SA. Pankracy Wojtowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoni Dziechciowski's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. With an all-out effort, Borken SA's Pankracy Wojtowicz threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antoni Dziechciowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes into the game, Borken SA's Antoni Dziechciowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Wojtowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Aleksander Budrewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LechPoznan's Pankracy Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Dziechciowski in the 93rd minute of play. Aleksander Budrewicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Pankracy Wojtowicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antoni Dziechciowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Wojtowicz having to interfere. The LechPoznan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Borken SA's performance. The match ended with a win for Borken SA.
