The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radomil Dombroski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4thth minute of the game Radomil Dombroski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Nagaxy's Slawomir Kajdasz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilbert Jenkot came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Slawomir Kajdasz could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Nagaxy's Zbigniew Pieprz got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Radomil Dombroski came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cracovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Dombroski couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, FC Nagaxy's goalkeeper Slawomir Kajdasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Jenkot. Cracovia were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after FC Nagaxy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Czeslaw Logewnik took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cracovia's corner Czeslaw Logewnik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Slawomir Kajdasz quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nagaxy's zone, Radomil Dombroski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slawomir Kajdasz came out of the goal and Radomil Dombroski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cracovia's Radomil Dombroski got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Gilbert Jenkot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Slawomir Kajdasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilbert Jenkot scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Slawomir Kajdasz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radomil Dombroski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Kajdasz having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Zdzislaw Chlapowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cracovia and the FC Nagaxy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Nagaxy booed when Cracovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Chlapowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, FC Nagaxy's Milosz Dziuma broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 41st minute, FC Nagaxy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Radomil Dombroski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 48 minutes into the match, Cracovia's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Pieprz came free, but Zdzislaw Kapelski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radomil Dombroski made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tolek Lipinski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Nagaxy's Slawomir Kajdasz. Slawomir Kajdasz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Nagaxy's Slawomir Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Lipinski in the 58th minute of play. Slawomir Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Dombroski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Dombroski in the 90th minute of play forced FC Nagaxy's goalkeeper Slawomir Kajdasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomil Dombroski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Slawomir Kajdasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Cracovia were the better team. Cracovia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
